September 14, 2004 -- The ladies of the hit morning program, 'The View' joined in a low-carb party as Bob Skilnik, aka, 'The Low-Carb Bartender' came to their ABC television studio on September 10th in New York City. He previewed recipes from his newest book, The Low-Carb Bartender: Carb Counts For Beer, Wine, Mixed Drinks And More (Adams Media, ISBN 1593372531). "I wasn't surprised that Barbara, Meredith, Star, Joy, and Elisabeth thought that spirited beverages are high in carbohydrates," said the book author as he left the studio and headed back to his home base in Chicago.
