Low Carbs Online Opens new Low Carb Wholesale website - The Low Carb Net.
August 4, 2004 -- Low Carbs Online (LCO), the most visited Low Carb website in the world, (according to Alexa.com) has launched a wholesale website. LCO is responding to the great demand of Low Carb products by small and medium food stores around the country and in the world. Furthermore, LCO, currently, is negotiating with several foreign businesses to become their main distributor of Low Carb Foods, giving the new site a global presence.
"Our great contacts with Low Carb producing companies will make it possible for us to keep our prices down, while continuing to offer our customers 24 hour shipping," CEO Tom Hedrup said in a statement.
LCO only sell Low Carb products that do not contain hydrogenated oils. This makes LCO unique and makes them stand out in comparison to companies such as Wal Mart, Walgreens, and other major chains that continue to sell Low Carb products containing the dangerous hydrogenated oils.
CFO, Ewa-Lena Nordberg, commented on the recent rumors of a Low Carb industry slowdown. "Many food manufactures have flooded the market with unhealthy Low Carb products, or Low Carb products containing too many carbohydrates. We only work with food producers who behave responsible, and hope that others will educate themselves about the Low Carb Lifestyle."
The new Low Carb Wholesale website can be found at http://www.thelowcarbnet.com.
Low Carbs Online has been active in the Low Carb Industry since July 2003. The company became the most visited Low Carb website in January 2004, and has strengthened that position in the first and second quarter of 2004. The company has its headquarters in Los Angeles, California and in Stockholm, Sweden.
